High School Summer Internship

High School Summer Internship

2016 UPDATE:
We regret to announce that the Reuth Summer Internship has been put on hold until further notice.

The Reuth Summer Internship invites you to spend time volunteering and interning at the Reuth Medical Center in Tel Aviv. You will be part of a select group of young women from North America who will work at the largest rehabilitation and chronic care center in the Tel-Aviv region.
Each week you will also have an opportunity to experience Israel through trips around the country and activities throughout Tel Aviv. Click here for the 2014 brochure and prices and click here for a copy of the 2012 schedule. Learn about the internship through the 2015 Summer Internship Blog and the internship photo album.

This unique internship is a wonderful opportunity for young women entering their senior year of high school who are interested in volunteering in Israel and/or are interested in Medical, Social Work, Occupational or Physical Therapy fields. This three and a half week program will provide students with first hand experience working with doctors and therapists. Participants will learn what it is like to work in a hospital and tend to the various needs of patients. They will gain an understanding of the Israeli health care system and see how they can make a difference in the every day lives of patients who remain at the hospital for long periods of time.

Learn more about the Summer Internship by reading past articles from the New Jersey Standard, Jerusalem Post and YNet written about the program.
