About 1m NIS were raised in December through a Reuth fundraising event held at the Smolarz Auditorium on the campus of Tel Aviv University, featuring some of Israel’s leading performing artists. All proceeds will be used for the expansion and upgrade of the geriatric rehabilitation wards at Reuth Rehabilitation Hospital. The evening was attended by leading figures from Israel’s industrial, legal, business and government sectors, as well as Reuth’s Chairman Ami Aricha and Director General Ido Sharir, the Hospital’s Director, Dr. Dov Albukrek, Reuth board members and leaders of the Israeli Friends of Reuth. Addressing the audience Dr. Albukrek said: “We have been able to achieve so much thanks to our dedicated and professional staff… which embodies the Spirit of Reuth: providing holistic care with the patient and his family at the center…”
