Reuth Rehabilitation Hospital, the largest of its kind on Israel, is fully affiliated with the Faculty of Medicine at Tel Aviv University and is engaged in training and academic teaching for medical students and health professions. The hospital is recognized to specialize in rehabilitation medicine and geriatrics and is the first medical center in Israel recognized to specialize in medical administration and pain relief from rehabilitative and geriatric hospitals.
Although the numbers of graduates in the field of medicine in Israel is on the rise, there is little demand for specialization in rehabilitation. Hence, we face a troubling gap between a constantly growing demand for rehabilitation services, and the numbers of experts in this field. This gap prevents development of services at the level and scope needed today, compelling Reuth to lead a
much-needed change.
Reuth Rehabilitation Hospital conducts a great deal of research and technological development activity in Rehabilitation medicine, offering its MDs a fascinating specialization track with extensive opportunities for personal and professional growth. In its decision to meet the national challenge, the hospital, is offering an incentive intended to attract promising young doctors to Reuth and to this important profession. The New interns will receive a grant of 250,000 NIS for joining Reuth’s medical staff. (In the event that the Ministry of Health decides to offer incentives to interns specializing in rehabilitation, we will merge our incentive program with the national program).
At present we wish to recruit 4 rehabilitation interns at Reuth Rehabilitation Hospital, offering a
grant of 250,000 NIS to each one.
