Individuals of all ages arrive at Reuth TLV during some of life’s toughest challenges. They are grappling with the aftermath of car accidents, strokes, injuries, complex surgeries, and most recently the West Nile virus. Some are facing chronic conditions requiring long-term care. Here, they receive personalized and customized care and regain the ability to eat, walk and speak on their own.
Reuth TLV is affiliated with the Tel Aviv University Faculty of Medical & Health Sciences, provides internships to medical students, and is recognized by the Israel Medical Association to train residents in general rehabilitation, geriatrics, and pain management.

Reuth TLV’s pediatric departments provide care for children requiring round-the-clock nursing and medical support due to genetic conditions, congenital and chronic diseases, accidents, severe brain injuries, and more. During animal therapy, we bring dogs, rabbits, and guinea pigs to the children, providing them with sensory stimulation and giving them an opportunity to interact with animals, which most would never have the chance to do outside of this setting.
Many people associate yoga with meditation and mental relaxation. However, not everyone realizes that yoga can also help cope with chronic pain, migraines, or healing after an injury. At the hospital, we practice, Iyengar Yoga which is a physical, mental, and emotional practice. When working with patients, we focus on their overall wellbeing including issues such as poor sleep and mental tension, not only the specific medical conditions for which they are hospitalized.
