Alexandra Schwartz is an Emmy Award-Winning Producer of “Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood”, the popular preschool series on PBS Kids based on the legacy of Mister Rogers. As Writer, Story Editor and Supervising Producer at 9 Story Media Group and author of over a dozen children’s books published by Simon and Schuster, Alexandra leverages her background in Child Development and passion for Creative Writing to raise the bar for kids’ educational media. She received her B.A. in Psychology and Film from Colgate University and M.A. in Developmental Psychology from Teachers College, Columbia University. Alexandra was previously the Director of Membership for the Children’s Media Association, a nonprofit organization that connects and supports passionate professionals who create thoughtful and entertaining media for children.
