Raviv Sason, Reuth TLV

Raviv Sason was hospitalized at Reuth Tel Aviv after having his leg amputated. 7 months later, he is going home!
“I had my left leg amputated because of a blood vessel disease that causes excessive clotting. I am also a kidney transplant recipient so I already knew what physical and emotional challenges to expect during rehabilitation.
I would like to thank the staff of Reuth Tel Aviv who got me back on my feet by teaching me to use the prosthesis. I especially appreciated treatments with the therapy dogs Mika and Luna. It was so fun and broke the usual treatment routine. I have a dog at home so I really connected with them.
I have an important message for those going through rehabilitation – do not pity yourself. Look toward the future and believe that change is possible.”
